Unlike North American distilleries, Glenora is not a micro distillery. Its production volume reaches 250,000 bottles per year. The beginnings were difficult but when Lauchie MacLean took over the distillery in 1994 everything began to change. Glen Breton was launched on the market in September 2000 and 2,000 cases were sold in just 6 weeks.
